The symptoms of weed damage are that the heart leaves turn yellow, lose green, and turn albino, and then other leaves turn yellow in sequence from top to bottom. Generally, weed damage symptoms can be seen 3 to 4 days after application. Annual weeds die in 1 to 3 weeks. Perennial broadleaf weeds with less than 6 leaves are suppressed, stop growing, and lose their ability to compete with corn. High doses can also kill perennial weeds.
